MyKayla B. Cameron

I was born and raised in a small town called Erwin, North Carolina. I am 18 years of age and the second to youngest out of seven children including me. I attended Triton High School where I became a 2018 graduate. I graduated with honors such as NC Scholar and Beta Club. I was the Battalion Commander in JROTC, a co-captain on the Soccer and Cheer team.

Now I am starting a new journey at High Point University where I am a freshman studying Exercise Science. I am on the track for greater things in life not only for myself but for my family and those around me. While at High Point I want to learn how to give back not only in North Carolina but across the globe. I chose Exercise Science as my major because I wanted to learn the ins and outs of the human body while exercising and before, during, and after injuries. I hope to obtain a internship before graduating and then securing a job for after college, either with a high school, college, or professional sport team. :)
